History of Stilnovisti
During more than 15 years of presence on the market Stilnovisti was the organizer, exhibitor or participant of several hundred festivals, fairs, tastings, masterclasses and other industry events around the world. For many years, we have been involved in promoting and expanding our knowledge of Scotch whisky through numerous press and radio releases and lectures.

The Stilnovists were supported by 29. Final of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, organizing charity auctions through the Allegro website. In one of them, we offered to bid on an exclusive online whisky tasting run by one of the world's largest authorities in the field of Scotch whisky, Charles Maclean.
In 2018, Wine Magazine awarded its Grand Prix in 17 categories. The jury was composed of Polish and foreign experts in the field of alcohols, including Henry Matson, Sir Colin Hampden-White, Maciej Katarzyński, Apolinary Rzońca and Maciej Sokołowski, chose wine from hundreds of Grand Prix entries
Whisky Live is the most famous global series of whisky festivals, held every year in more than 30 cities around the world, including London, Paris, New York, Taipei and Sydney. In 2018, guests of the Live Whisky Festival in Changshy, China, had the opportunity to get to know the brands of Scotch whisky produced by Stilnovisti.
In November 2018, we had the pleasure of participating in the Whisky Live festival in Johannesburg, South Africa. Stilnovisti promoted its brand of luxury single malt whisky together with the well-known independent bottle maker Murray McDavid.
On September 20, 2018, the Dukes Hotel in Mayfair, London, premiered the unique single malt Aulquerc Macduff 1968. Representatives of the industry and whisky lovers gathered to taste the oldest edition of single malt from the Macduff distillery, which has ever appeared on the market. The evening was hosted by Stilnovisti CEO Krzysztof Maruszewski, and the whisky was presented by leading author and expert Charles MacLean and former Whisky Quarterly editor Sir Colin Hampden-White. From 31 August to 1 September, the city hall in Elgin, Scotland hosted the sister event of the famous Spirit of Speyside Festival – Distilled. Among the largest producers of Scotch whisky (including Glenfiddich, Glenlivet, Glenfarclas, Glenrothes and Balvenie), the Stilnovisti team also had their stand there, presenting the participants with a new edition of bottled Puffin Whisky.
During the fourth edition of Whisky Live Tel Aviv, along with dozens of other whisky producers from around the world, Stilnovisti promoted the editions of the proprietary brands Rage Whisky and Lucullan. Stilnovisti actively supports charitable initiatives, including the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. On the occasion of the 2018 GOCC Finale, we raised more than 3,400 PLN through charity auctions (in which a private tasting with CEO Krzysztof Maruszewski was up for grabs), as well as the "Great Stilnovisti Barbecue for 26. Stilnovisti XII Wine Magazine Grand Prix 2017 brought together more than a hundred exhibitors from Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Romania, USA, Chile, South Africa and many other countries under one roof. The two-day event was a great opportunity to taste wines awarded with Grand Prix 2017 medals, as well as to get acquainted with producers and their representatives at over a hundred stands, which presented about 2,500 labels. The Wine Magazine event gathered over 4,000 guests over the weekend.
In 2017, Stilnovisti became the publisher of one of the oldest and most important magazines on the Polish alcoholic media market – the Wine Magazine. Until 2020, it was published as a quarterly magazine in paper form, currently the magazine is being restructured into an online portal.
In 2017, we also participated in the Whisky Festival in Jastrzębia Góra, promoting our Rage Whisky and Lucullan brands. Guests visiting the Stilnovisti festival tent could taste unique, limited editions of single malt Scotch whisky.
On 21-22 April, Poznań Whisky Show was held for the second time in the capital of Wielkopolska. The event was attended by more than 4,000 whisky enthusiasts. Participants of the festival organized by Stilnovisti had the opportunity to try over 500 types of whisky, as well as take part in masterclass tastings conducted by, among others, Blair Bowman, Ian Millar, Henry Matson or Ivan de Fonclare. The main attraction of both festival days was the boxing ring, which captivated Whisky Fight Night.
On 14-15 October, the rooms of the Marriott hotel in Warsaw hosted Whisky Live Warsaw, one of the largest alcohol festivals in Poland. At the Stilnovisti stand, you could have tasted limited editions of Scotch whisky, which as an independent bottler we bottled, among others, under the brands Puffin Whisky and Rage Whisky. We have prepared a separate stand in the form of a bar in a truck for another alcohol from the Stilnovisti portfolio – vodka from Scottish potatoes Pimp My Vodka. See the WLW 2016 report here.
Bottled by Stilnovisti under the brand name Puffin Whisky, the 18-year-old scotch whisky from Benrinnes distillery won the title of the best single malt whisky at the Cracow Whisky Festival 2016.
Whisky Radio is the world's first radio channel devoted entirely to whisky. On its air, you can hear interviews with outstanding authorities of the industry, reports from the world's largest whisky festivals, information about news in the industry, interesting dramas and distilleries.
During the third edition of the Whisky Festival in Jastrzębia Góra, whisky enthusiasts from all over Poland could once again taste the limited edition of single cask from the Stilnovisti portfolio. We have prepared a two-day Masterclass session for the participants, which was conducted by, among others, Charles Maclean and Sir Colin Hampden-White.
In 2016, the first Poznań Whisky Show took place, whose main organizer was Stilnovisti. For two days, more than 2,500 people visited the event, tasting drinks not only at the stands, but also during numerous master classes hosted by, among others, Charles Maclean and Rob Allanson, the global ambassador of the Grant's brand. The main attraction was the Whisky Fight Night taking place in the boxing ring, and the Scottish climate was complemented by the Highland Games zone. In 2016-2018, in the heart of Poznań at ul. Młyńska ran the Whisky Rush showroom. In this unique place, filled with the atmosphere of Scotch whisky, visitors could not only purchase rare and exclusive whiskies, but also delve into the subject of Scotch whisky through numerous events, tastings and events, led by well-known and respected authorities of the whisky world.
The second edition of the first Whisky Festival in Poland attracted 4.5 thousand lovers of golden liquor. All the largest distributors of whisky in the village presented their drinks in Jastrzębia Góra, including Diageo, CEDC, Pernod Ricard, LVMH and Stock. Stilnovisti was also one of the exhibitors – at our stand we presented exclusive Scottish single cask whisky released under the Stilnovisti brands.
On January 15, 2015, the launch party for Stilnovisti's English-language whisky magazine, Whisky Quarterly, took place at the historic Church House in Westminster, London. The lavish ceremony was attended by several hundred recognized representatives of the liquor industry, and music was provided by the unique "Barley, Stills, Mash and Tun" band, which includes industry leaders including Neil Ridley, Sam Simmons, Dr. Nick Morgan, Simon Roser, Rob Allanson and Cat Spencer of William Grant & Sons. June 2014 - The launch of "Whisky" magazine, published by Stilnovisti under the editorship of President Krzysztof Maruszewski. "Whisky" magazine is the first luxury quarterly magazine in Poland devoted to whisky. Among the collaborators and editors of the publishing house are some of the most famous names in the world of whisky, including Sir Colin Hampden-White, Charles MacLean, Ian Buxton, Annabel Meikle or Nicola Young. Currently, Whisky Magazine is being restructured into an online portal.
16 July 2012 – At the headquarters of the Polish Press Agency, a conference is organized, during which Stilnovisti announced a pioneering initiative of advising on the purchase of antique, collector's cars on the Polish market, in cooperation with Endurance Capital LLP.
March 2008 – The company Stilnovisti LLC is established, dealing with investment advice in the field of alternative assets, such as whisky, wine or works of art. It is then the only Polish company offering the opportunity to invest in premier crus wines.
2006 – Krzysztof Maruszewski, the founder of Stilnovisti, created the first investment portfolio in Poland based on Bordeaux wines.
