Destylarnia Tullibardine

Tullibardine Distillery is located in the south of the Highlands, on the border with the Lowlands, near the town of Blackford. It is an area famous for its crystal clear water, and Tullibardine for whisky production draws its water in the nearby Danny Burn stream. It was founded in 1949, in the buildings of an extremely old brewery, dating back to the 12th century. Apparently, it was here that beer was brewed for the coronation of King James IV.

Perhaps due to the proximity of the Lowlands, the whisky from the Tullibardine distillery is somewhat reminiscent of the spirit of this region. It is a mild whisky with a harmonious and rich bouquet and clearly malty aromas.
