Bruichladdich is redefining luxury with its new range!
The distillery releases its first high age statement collection with sustainable packaging.
The Hebridean distillery, Bruichladdich, has launched its first permanent high age statement range with two new releases: Bruichladdich Eighteen and Bruichladdich Thirty. These bottlings form the Luxury Redefined range, paying homage to significant moments in the brand’s history.
Bruichladdich Eighteen is distilled from the first crop of Islay-grown barley, harvested after the distillery reopened in 2001. Head distiller Adam Hannett calls it an “ultra-high provenance whisky," with every element from barley to cask being fully traceable.
Bruichladdich Thirty, on the other hand, harks back to the distillery’s closure in 1994, with spirit from ex-bourbon casks safeguarded at the time. “This 30-year-old whisky celebrates both the resurrection of our Victorian distillery and the dedication of those who laid down this spirit three decades ago,” says Hannett.
Sustainability is at the heart of this luxury range, highlighted by fully recyclable paper pulp packaging, created in collaboration with Thirst and James Cropper. The new Luxury Redefined packaging demonstrates that sustainability and premium aesthetics can coexist.
Bruichladdich Eighteen and Bruichladdich Thirty are now available via bruichladdich.com and specialist whisky retailers.
