Destylarnia Auchroisk
The Auchroisk Distillery is located in the Speyside region, under Mount Ben Aigan. Established in 1974, it is a modern, highly automated plant famous for its ecological solutions. Water for its production is taken from the natural spring of the Dorie Well.
The whisky from the Auchroisk distillery is typical of the Speyside region - mild and sweet, with a spicy note mainly due to the wood used. The first edition of single malt from this distillery hit the market in 1986 as the Singleton of Auchroisk and quickly won the recognition of connoisseurs. Interestingly, it was one of the first whiskys to use a finish by pouring the distillate into sherry casks for two years.
