Destylarnia Cragganmore

Cragganmore is a distillery that was built by John Smith in 1869. Thanks to him, a railway was built in the vicinity of the distillery, which translated into the fact that the distillery became the first distillery in Scotland to transport alcohol so efficiently by rail.

In 1968, Cragganmore Distillery was sold to DCL, and before 2000, Diageo Corporation finally became the owner of the distillery.

The distillery is in the center of the Speyside region and its Gaelic name Cragganmore means “mighty rock”.
