Destylarnia Deanston

The Deanston Distillery was established in 1967 by brodie Hepburn, the then owner of Tullibardine and macduff. It is located near the town of Doune, and the first reflectors were released on the market in 1971, and the first single in 1974.

It is one of the greenest distilleries in all of Scotland, as all the energy used to produce the whisky comes from the water turbines on the River Teith and the excess energy is sold to the national power grids.

At the moment, the owner of the distillery is the Distell group.
