Destylarnia Fettercairn

Fettercairn is one of Scotland’s oldest whisky distilleries. The license was obtained as early as 1824, originally under the name “Nethermill”. Situated in a beautiful location in the Eastern Highlands, in a valley between the foothills of the Grampians. It is famous for the use of very high-quality maturation barrels - bourbon barrels are used here only once, and whisky maturing in sherry or port barrels is also sometimes used. It is one of the few Scottish distilleries to use caramelized malt for some editions.

The distillery has released a number of official single malt editions on the market, it is very rarely found in the offer of independent bottlers. Single malt whisky from the Fettercairn distillery is very popular among connoisseurs and collectors.
