Destylarnia Glen Elgin

Glen Elgin Distillery was founded in 1898 by William Simpson, who was the manager of Glenfaraclas, and by James Carle. Unfortunately, production started only in 1900, but it was not carried out for too long.

Only many years later the distillery gains popularity. It was not until 2001 that the first edition of single malt whisky was created, which was part of the Flora & Fauna series, endorsed by Diageo.
