Destylarnia Glenglassaugh

Glenglassaugh Distillery is situated on the eastern end of charming Sandend Bay. It was founded by James Moir in 1875. Like many other Scottish distilleries, most of the production was dedicated to blended whisky blending. In early 2016, the Glenglassaugh Distillery was purchased by Brown-Forman, along with Ben Riach and Glendronach.

Glenglassaugh is famous for paying the utmost attention to the quality of the whisky produced here. Its style can be described as sweet, fruity-floral, but it also produces a distillate with a smoky, peaty character.
