Destylarnia Glenlossie
Glenlossie Distillery was established in 1876, and among its founders was John Duff, the former manager of the Glendronach distillery. Currently, it belongs to the Diageo concern. Interestingly, there are actually two distilleries on the site - Glenlossie and Mannochmore, built in 1971. There are also 14 warehouses that can accommodate up to 250,000. whisky barrels. Until 2007, both distilleries were run by one crew of employees working 6 months a year in each of them.
From the very beginning, Glenlossie produced whisky mainly for the purpose of blended whisky. There are no official single malt editions on the market, only a few versions branded by independent bottlers. These rare single malt versions are characterized by a mild and delicate character of the drink.
