Destylarnia Glenmorangie

This Glenmorangie Distillery is situated in the town of Tain in the Highland region. It is the distillery that has launched Scotland’s best-selling single malt whisky.

This distillery was established in 1843, when the founder William Matheson received a license to produce whisky. Already in 1880, whisky from this distillation was exported to Italy and the USA.

Only 16 people work in this distillery from 1920 to the present day, which is emphasized on the bottle labels: “Handcrafted by the Sixteen Men of Tain”.
