Destylarnia Kininvie

Kininvie Distillery is located in Dufftown and owned by William Grant & Sons. It was opened in 1990, has three stills for the first distillation and six stills for the second distillation. Due to the fact that the distillery is situated at the rear of the Balvenie Distillery, it benefits from its termination malt.

Most of the whisky produced here goes to Monkey Shoulder and Clan MacGregor blends and some versions of Grant’s whisky. The distillery has a very small amount of single malt whisky which is due to the fact that its taste is not good enough to be bottled.
