Raasay Distillery is a newly established distillery that offers investors maturing whisky that can be filled into the barrel with 63.5% strength distillate with a choice of slightly peat distillate and without peat. The liquor is to be aged in the initial stage in bourbon barrels and then in Bordeaux wine barrels for a minimum of 10 years. Anyone who buys a 190-liter barrel will have to pay 4,000 pounds for it, and about 250 bottles can be bottled from such a barrel.
