Destylarnia Strathmill

The Strathmill Distillery was established in 1891, originally under the name Glenisla-Glenlivet. It is located in Keith in Speyside, near Dufftown, on the banks of the Isla River. The whisky produced here is extremely rare in the single malt version - the vast majority of production goes to blended whisky, including J&B and Dunhill.

The few single malt versions available on the market are characterized by a delicate character, with hints of flowers and vanilla. An old legend says that there used to be a “whisky fountain” in the distillery, i.e. an open vessel with freshly distilled whisky, from which visitors could taste the drink directly.
