Destylarnia Tomintoul

Tomintoul is a young distillery, founded in 1964 on the wave of increased demand for Scotch whisky. It lies at an altitude of 350 meters above sea level, which makes it one of the highest situated distilleries in Scotland. It is located on the banks of the Avon River, in the vicinity of the town of the same name. It is supplied with water from the crystal-clear Ballantruan spring that flows from the high mountains of the Cairngorm.

Most of the whisky produced here goes to the compilation of blended whisky from the Whyte & Mackay portfolio. The official offer of single malt whisky from this distillery, as well as editions from independent distributors, are very much appreciated by connoisseurs. For many, it is one of the best representatives of the Speyside region, a mild whisky with a sweet, fruity bouquet.
