Destylarnia Wolfburn

Wolfburn Distillery is a new distillery from which the first distillate was shipped in 2013. Shane Fraser was involved in the project from the very beginning. Whisky produced in this distillery is based on peat-free malt, and only a small part of the whisky produced here is made of slightly peaty raw material. The detillery is named after the stream from which it draws its water.

The distillery has four buildings with three warehouses and one building which is the actual distillery. There are plans to launch whisky bottling in one of the warehouses.

In 2016, the distillery premiered its first whisky, which was made on the basis of peat-free malt, but due to the fact that it was matured in quartercasks, this whisky has a slightly peaty accent.
