Introducing Loch Lomond 50 Years Old – Five decades in the making!
Loch Lomond Whiskies has just unveiled a 50-year-old single malt that’s been carefully matured in refill American oak, first-fill bourbon casks, and oloroso sherry hogsheads.
Distilled in 1973, only 100 bottles will be released! Under the watchful eye of master blender Michael Henry, this whisky spent decades evolving into a masterpiece. The re-casking in bourbon and oloroso sherry barrels has brought out incredible complexity and depth.
Expect notes of white fruits, crisp citrus, and a hint of tropical character. Bottled at 42.6% ABV, Loch Lomond 50 Years Old is presented in a stunning decanter by Glencairn Crystal Studio, with a nod to the distillery's iconic stills.
Available for £25,000 via Loch Lomond and select retailers.
